Home-learning 11th -15th May 2020

Ben (5M) and Ollie (2M) have been going on lots of long bike rides with stepdad, but this weekend did 18.49mi keeping them active and fit ready for when thay go back to kickboxing , speedway and football after lockdown.

Jenson (2H) was very impressed with his pressed flowers when he got them out of the book this morning to label ๐๐ผ
Cal (Giraffe Class) has done his dots and dashes on phase 2 and 3 words. Then he completed some phonics, followed by learn to tell them time and then putting the hands correctly on the clock

Sienna (Reception) has been working out of her KS1 maths book this morning, she really enjoys using these books, she also has a phonics one that she wants to start this afternoon.โญ๏ธ
Sienna watched Mrs Atkins story time yesterday and said sheโs missing her and Miss Blake lots and lots, sheโd love more story time videos. ๐
We having been filling a time capsule sheet every few weeks to help Noah, this is what he wrote today. โค๏ธโค๏ธโค๏ธ

Noah (RA) has been taking great care of his beanstalk from school, he has even helped mommy repot it, and waters it everyday ๐๐ฑ

Gracie (1H) made and decorated a horse out of junk modelling. Sheโs been doing lots of research on horses and writing about them ๐ด๐ด๐ด๐ดShe said please can you tell Mr Purcell that she is 6 today and she wished she could give him a piece of cake
This is Oscar who is in Mr Penn's Nursery Pink group. He has managed to learn how to swing and we are so proud of him. Oscar is missing all his friends and teachers and hope to come back soon ๐

Cal (Giraffe Class) has spent the morning reading his books for trigraphs and diagraphs and said he found 13 new ones, he then played higher and lower with mommy and the created his own rainbow with the capillary action ๐
Jenson (2H) is working hard on Ronald the Rhino story this week. He is enjoying the story so far. We have been working on his handwriting and he is taking more care this week ๐๐ฆ๐

Dougie has really enjoyed maths today, loving both games and even got his sister involved in guessing higher or lower 1๏ธโฃ7๏ธโฃ5๏ธโฃ. After that he successfully matched his sentences to the correct pictures ๐
Emilia has been researching France and Monaco. During this she has learnt there are a lot more countries than she thought that speak French, Monaco being one of them ๐๐ฒ๐จ

This morning we have learnt about primary colour and Noah told me which colours you can mix together. He spelt out the parts of our body before labelling the picture. We also used some counting block to do some maths work ๐๐จ
Lois (5M) has been to visit her dad, completed her homework in the garden and taken long walks, with a picnic, in the Yorkshire countryside โ๏ธ
Dougie just recieved this certificate in the post and it has put a big smile on his face ๐. He says thank you and he misses you all - Mrs Cox, Mrs Wallace and Mrs Walford ๐
After completing set school work Emilia, Lilyrose and Dougie have made home made cookies and chocolate brownies ๐ must say they taste lovely x
Bailey (4A) is taking part in West Mercia Scouts #bigcampout. He has so far built his den, cooked his tea, completed his challenges, taken part in his virtual meeting, lit a fire, toasted and eaten marshmallows โบ๐ฅ
Bailey (4A) and Jenson (2H) have been enjoying time over the fields by our house. They found a MASSIVE swans nest and have been over most days to see if any of the eggs had hatched. Today they got a very fluffy suprise...5 baby swans ๐๐ฆข
