Home-learning 11th -15th May 2020

Thank you to everyone who has shared their home-learning with us via email, Facebook and Twitter.

Ben (5M)  and Ollie (2M) have been going on lots of long bike rides with stepdad, but this weekend did 18.49mi keeping them active and fit  ready for when thay go back to kickboxing , speedway and football after lockdown.

Bailey (4A) has completed his cub challenge for today. How many bubbles can you get inside a big bubble!! 💙

Today Noah has made a copy of his body. In maths he learnt greater than, less than and we also learnt about the weather ☀️🌧❄️

Bailey (4A) enjoyed making a birdhouse for the garden in his spare time yesterday 🐦🐦

Jenson (2H) was very impressed with his pressed flowers when he got them out of the book this morning to label 😁🌼

Cal (Giraffe Class) has done his dots and dashes on phase 2 and 3 words. Then he completed some phonics, followed by learn to tell them time and then putting the hands correctly on the clock

Finley-James (Reception Giraffe Class) is learning how to tell the time 🕰 He is enjoying creating the time on his home made clock then copying it on to his mini clocks. 😁🌟⏰

Cal in Giraffe class RH has been writing what he can see outside in our garden and wrote down his normal daily routine and the times he normally does them ⌚😁

Caidey-Mai (2H) has made slime cakes and cookies today 🥰 the cookies are a recipe she used at school and they taste beautiful xx 🍪🧁

Sienna (Reception) has been working out of her KS1 maths book this morning, she really enjoys using these books, she also has a phonics one that she wants to start this afternoon.⭐️
Sienna watched Mrs Atkins story time yesterday and said she’s missing her and Miss Blake lots and lots, she’d love more story time videos. 😁

We having been filling a time capsule sheet every few weeks to help Noah, this is what he wrote today. ❤️❤️❤️
We have also being learning about numbers bonds first to 5 then to 10. 🔢🔢

Freddie (Reception) has enjoyed learning about money this morning 😁💷

Ava (2M) has been sticking photos and writing about our lockdown in her book this week 😁📸

Noah (RA) has been taking great care of his beanstalk from school, he has even helped mommy repot it, and waters it everyday 😁🌱

Lily (RM) has been matching words to the pictures and spelling the words out 😁

Gracie (1H) made and decorated a horse out of junk modelling. She’s been doing lots of research on horses and writing about them 🐴🐴🐴🐴She said please can you tell Mr Purcell that she is 6 today and she wished she could give him a piece of cake 

This is Oscar who is in Mr Penn's Nursery Pink group. He has managed to learn how to swing and we are so proud of him. Oscar is missing all his friends and teachers and hope to come back soon 😁

Heath (Zebra Class - Reception) is loving his certificate which came through the post today 😃 ✉️

I photocopied the sentences in Noah's reading bag for him to copy. He then put the trigraphs into the words 😁

Super happy that the post lady has brought his star of the week certificate 🌟

Cal (Giraffe Class) has spent the morning reading his books for trigraphs and diagraphs and said he found 13 new ones, he then played higher and lower with mommy and the created his own rainbow with the capillary action 😁

Jenson (2H) is working hard on Ronald the Rhino story this week. He is enjoying the story so far. We have been working on his handwriting and he is taking more care this week 😁🦏🌈

We’re having an inset day due to Noah’s 5th birthday (RA) and we're all set for driveway visitors 😁🎂

Dougie has really enjoyed maths today, loving both games and even got his sister involved in guessing higher or lower 1️⃣7️⃣5️⃣. After that he successfully matched his sentences to the correct pictures 😁

Emilia has been researching France and Monaco. During this she has learnt there are a lot more countries than she thought that speak French, Monaco being one of them 😁🇲🇨

This morning we have learnt about primary colour and Noah told me which colours you can mix together. He spelt out the parts of our body before labelling the picture. We also used some counting block to do some maths work 😁🎨

Lois (5M) has been to visit her dad, completed her homework in the garden and taken long walks, with a picnic, in the Yorkshire countryside ☀️

Dougie just recieved this certificate in the post and it has put a big smile on his face 😁. He says thank you and he misses you all - Mrs Cox, Mrs Wallace and Mrs Walford 😊

After completing set school work Emilia, Lilyrose and Dougie have made home made cookies and chocolate brownies 😋 must say they taste lovely x

Bailey (4A) is taking part in West Mercia Scouts #bigcampout. He has so far built his den, cooked his tea, completed his challenges, taken part in his virtual meeting, lit a fire, toasted and eaten marshmallows ⛺🔥

Bailey (4A) and Jenson (2H) have been enjoying time over the fields by our house. They found a MASSIVE swans nest and have been over most days to see if any of the eggs had hatched. Today they got a very fluffy suprise...5 baby swans 🌈🦢

Isabelle (6M) has had a busy day with maths, reading and then created this art work 🤩

Cal (Giraffe Class) has been doing some learning today on the computer. He has completed his phonics and maths lessons and then had a go at some puzzles in his pokemon magazine as a treat for getting star of the week 🌟

Noah’s (RA) biggest achievement of lockdown 🚲 he’s learnt how to ride his bike, next step to take the stabilisers off..Well done Noah 😁

Aaqib and Ghazia are missing school so they decided to take a walk to school. When they arrived back home, Ghazia did some Maths (counting and matching numbers to blocks) 😁🦋
