School Days 18th - 22nd May 2020

This week the children have been diving into an underwater adventure and started off the day with cosmic underwater yoga. The children have designed hand-print crabs and paper plate fish to create an underwater display.  They have been submerged in their aquatic activities and even spotted a couple of mermaids! The next day the children have enjoyed a lovely day, continuing the theme of underwater, they have dived into underwater maths.

We have had lots of outdoor play this week, enjoying the beautiful sunshine, but keeping all the children safe in the sun, hats at the ready.

Towards the end of the week we had a choc filled day starting off with a survey of the most popular chocolate - all children completed the survey, tasting a variety of chocolates ranging from Cadbury's favourites to Green & Black's chocolate range - we even tried low sugar chocolate! It was interesting to hear what the children's favourite choice was, well - you will be pleased and not surprised to know that good old Cadburys Dairy Milk came out top, however it was closely followed by Green & Blacks dark mint chocolate, seasalt chocolate and white chocolate - what can I say, our children have a refined palate!

We even had a choc-filled story time with Mr Purcell, who read Roald Dahl's Charlie and the Chocolate Factory to the children.
