Every lunch time children can express their creativity by pottering about amongst the curios in our ‘Art Shed’. We gather a wide range of discarded materials and enable our children to design, make and create. They make costumes, games, art installations to name but a few and have great fun in the process.
Today we celebrated Harvest Festival at St Andrews, our local church. Our whole learning community participate in the event with all of our children and staff taking part. Every year group perform a song and give thanks for all of the wonderful natural food that is in abundance at this time of year.
Our school choir brings our children together to sing in a friendly, enjoyable celebratory way. They sing every week and take part in a wide range of school events throughout the year. We like to encourage and reward our hard working and creative children at every opportunity and every week we host very special VIP assemblies where we congregate to congratulate children across all of our age groups. We have categories for different learning skills, for efforts and for achievements.
Some of our children have been lucky enough to visit Wolverley High School to take part in some exciting outdoor activities. They have developed their Skiing skills on the dry slope and learnt the natural arts of bush craft and survival skills.
